The Albanian Society at UCL has made a name for itself for being the most inclusive and supportive Albanian society there is out there in London. With a wide network and amazing opportunities and events, UCL Albanian Society has demonstrated its capacity to better the lives of the Albanian community at UCL. I, as I'm sure many of us can relate to, have benefitted from the events organised by UCL Albanian Society. As a First-Year student studying BSc Politics & International Relations, I found myself in a comfortable and safe spot at the start of my university career by joining UCL Albanian Society, which is something I will be fully committed to ensuring new and existing students feel as the next President of UCL Albanian Society. As President, I will enjoy and carry out the role with all of my passion, using my previous experiences to assist me. I believe I have the adequate and respectful capabilities to take on this amazing leadership opportunity as I am committed to taking the initiative at all costs. As a student of Political Science, the art of communication is at the core of everything I do. Due to the amazing inclusivity and cooperation both internally and externally that is present at UCL Albanian Society, this will make enhancing and continuing the great work we will do as a committee much easier. I want to take this initiative and serve everybody with my full potential, and I would be deeply honoured to be elected President and continue growing.
Thank you, Diar Bala
Hello everyone,
I’m Daniel Budina, the interim president of the Albanian Society, and I’m excited to officially run for president this year. I truly value the incredible community we've built here, and I’m committed to continuing our work in creating events that bring us closer together.
Last year, when no one else stepped up, I took on the interim president role to keep the society alive. I recruited three committee members, and together, we’ve hosted two successful events and grown to nearly 20 members. We already have an exciting networking event planned, featuring three successful Albanian CEOs who will share valuable career insights with us.
If elected, I’m eager to keep this momentum going, with plans for more events like football matches, Independence Day celebrations, and karaoke nights that everyone can enjoy.
I’d be grateful for your support to make this a memorable year for the Albanian Society. Thank you!
