Welfare Officer

Hiya! My name is Christian, from Viña del Mar and, as of 2023, a master’s student at the UCL Department of Anthropology. As a member of the Chilean Society, I conceive this organisation as an academic, social and cultural meeting place where Chileans and students from other countries converge to share and support each other. By applying for the position of Welfare Officer, I’d like to contribute more actively to the construction of a student community that guides and welcomes those who may encounter challenges on their arrival in London and at the beginning of their studies as international students. I’m also commited to collaborating in the creation of shared and supportive spaces of reflection and enjoyment, inspired by principles of solidarity, diversity and respect for human rights. We have the great opportunity to imagine this community together and direct it towards the well-being of its current and future members. Let’s make the most of it!
