Anthropology Society: Treasurer

My name is Jacob and I'm a 4th year anthropology student. I have participated in AnthSoc throughout my UCL career, and am appllying to this position as I am passionate about AnthSoc becoming a great social environment for students.

My professional life lends itself to the treasurer position; managing a pub has given me skills in stock aquisition, events management and profit analysis, meaning if I get the role I can effectively recommend purchases and pricing for events held. This is especially relevent for the end of year social, which in recent years has had controversy over costs, venues and pricing structures. Managing money is integral to my position at work, and I can translate the skills over to AnthSoc 1-1.
