‘We are net gainers from the Valley and Big Tech. The problem is with the word “net.”’ — Scott Galloway, Professor of Marketing at NYU Stern School of Business
Idea for research
Idea for research
GoSafer.Online CIC is seeking to collaborate with a master’s student interested in neurodiversity, digital inclusion, and community engagement. The organisation works at the intersection of online safety education, inclusive communication, and grassroots collaboration—supporting underserved groups to live safer and healthier lives online.

As they look to continue providing individuals and families with effective, culturally relevant digital information, they are inviting students to explore key evidence and considerations for ensuring online safety for autistic individuals in the context of AI-driven technologies:

• Students could take a more desk based approach using a systematic review to compile key findings from relevant research
• If students feel confident in interviewing and sourcing their own participants, students could engage in direct data collection with the autism community or families of autistic people to provide user led recommendations
Impact of idea
The hope for the findings of this project is to compile an online resource for the autistic community and their families that provides key considerations, best practice, and evidence based recommendations for engaging online safely with online technologies.

If you have any existing data or information you would like included in a project, please tell us what kind of data these are
