UCL Habesha Society is a student-led group focused on celebrating and sharing the rich cultures of Ethiopia and Eritrea, while also creating opportunities for personal, academic, and professional growth. Our goal is to educate, empower, and bring people together through a variety of activities and events.

As the first-ever Habesha Society at UCL, we're excited to host a wide range of events that highlight the traditions of our communities. From sports tournaments and fundraisers to our flagship event, where we’ll celebrate Habesha culture through music, dance, food, and fashion, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

But it’s not just about cultural events— we’re also committed to supporting our members’ academic and professional goals. We’ll be organising educational talks, career workshops, and networking opportunities to help you succeed, whether you’re looking to make new connections or boost your career.

Our society is open to everyone, so whether you're from a Habesha background or just curious to learn more, we’d love for you to join us. Come along to our events, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming community at UCL!
