We’re delighted to have achieved an Investors in People Silver Award after our recent audit in February 2021.
Investors in People have accredited more than 50,000 organisations and their awards are recognised in 66 countries around the world, making it the global benchmark when it comes to people management.
John Dubber, Chief Executive said:
“We are delighted by these tremendous results. They are testament to the hard work of all our staff who have done so much to transform the Students’ Union and its services over the past few years. They also reflect the strong sense of purpose and team spirit across the whole organisation. This latest accreditation shows how far we have come, as we continue to move towards being one of the best Students Unions in the UK and globally.”
Silver is a fantastic achievement and something only 20% of the organisations assessed achieve.
The Investors in People auditor said:
“Students Union UCL has been on a programme of change and professionalism since the last assessment. This has led to improvements in the performance of the Union as a whole, including improved student engagement.
There is passion and pride from the vast majority of people about working for the Union and this is backed up by the survey with 95% of people agreeing to some extend it is a great place to work.
Students Union UCL is to be congratulated for improving performance across the whole framework and achieving Silver Investors in People accreditation. The report and the feedback meeting will outline how the organisation can progress to higher performance levels in the future.”
We'll continue to serve the student community at UCL as we recover from the impacts of Covid-19.
