The idea
We are hosting a series of interactive competitions via Facebook that aim to get students thinking creatively and having a little break from their laptops, oh and they have the chance to win a £50 online shopping voucher too. We are collaborating with societies to run these, getting their top tips and ideas! Our first one will be a photography competition with Photo Society, open to all students to submit their photos around the theme (they chose "The New Normal") and then a public vote will be held to decide our winner! - Keep an eye out for this and give it a try!
How your society can take part
Go and get thinking what type of interactive competition could work for your society. We ideally need people to be able to submit their submission as an image that can be put into an album and liked/reacted to by Facebook users - what they are taking the image of is completely up to you!
You could challenge them to cook a certain type of meal, create a piece of art or to do an outdoor activity … whatever you feel gives them a taste of what your society has to offer and your community is all about. We will do all of the admin, set-up and provide the prizes, we just need you to come up with a challenge idea.
