Join us on Tuesday Lunchtimes in Phineas
Are you looking to try something new for 2026? You’re in luck! Launching Tuesday 20 January, we’re running a new lunchtime series of events called ‘Lunchtime Learn to…’ and we’re starting with learning how to play Pool.
We’re excited to bring you a low-pressure environment where you can get to grips with a variety of activities and games, no equipment needed; we’ll provide everything you require as well as some friendly student staff to show you the ropes.
You can come on your own to meet new people or bring along some friends and have a little competition. It’s all about trying new things and getting away from your studies for a break at lunchtime. Bring your packed lunch or grab something from the café downstairs and make sure to get a drink from the bar (soft drink or otherwise!) to sip on as you take your stance and line up your shot.
Later in term, from Tuesday 3 March, we’ll be teaching you how to play Darts too so you can expand your party tricks even more. We’re always open for new ideas and activities to take place as well so if you have any ideas drop us an email at [email protected].
