This thriller sees the struggling Kim family seize an opportunity when the son starts working for the wealthy Park family. Soon, all of them find a way to work within the same household and start living a parasitic life. Winner of Academy Award for Best Picture 2019. 

The Lives of Others (Germany, 2006)

In 1983 East Berlin, Stasi officer Gerd Wiesler doubts that a famous playwright is loyal to the Communist Party and receives approval to spy on the man and his actress-lover. Wiesler becomes unexpectedly sympathetic to the couple, then faces conflicting loyalties when his superior takes a liking to Christa-Maria and orders Wiesler to get the playwright out of the way. Winner of Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film 2006.

Roma (Mexico, 2018)

Cleo helps Antonio and Sofía take care of their four children in 1970s Mexico City. Complications  arise when Antonio suddenly runs away with his mistress and Cleo finds out that she's pregnant. When Sofía decides to take the kids on holiday, she invites Cleo for a much-needed getaway to clear her mind and bond with the family. Winner of Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film 2018.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Taiwan, 2000) 

Master Li, a warrior, asks Yu Shu Lien, the woman he loves, to pass on his sword Green Destiny, to Sir Te. However, when the sword is stolen, Li embarks on a mission to find it. Winner of Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film 2000.

A Separation (Iran, 2011)

Nader and Simin, a married couple, live together in Iran with their daughter Termeh. Simin wants to move out of the country, but their relationship is tested when Nader is reluctant as he wants to take care of his ailing father. Winner of Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film 2011.

Monsoon Wedding (India, 2001)

It follows a father trying to marry off his daughter, Aditi, in the traditional manner. Aditi is having second thoughts, while her cousin Ayesha Verma, 17, is just beginning to realise she's attractive to boys, and her other cousin, Ria, has a shocking revelation ready. The Secret in their Eyes (Argentina, 2009) 

After decades a former legal counsellor revisits a homicide case in order to write a novel on it. He simultaneously deals with his feelings for his former colleague while working on the case. Winner of Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film 2009.
