Academic Reps do one of the most important jobs in the Union: They represent your academic interests and ensure students have a voice in enhancing their education.
For Term Two, we are showcasing our Academic Reps through our 'Academic Rep in Focus' weekly segment. You can contact your Academic Rep using our 'Find Your Rep page'.
Academic Rep in Focus: Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali is the Undergraduate Faculty Rep for the Faculty of Engineering.
Mustafa is a second year Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering (CEGE) student. During his time as Rep, he has raised multiple issues to UCL, from leading a campaign to encourage the university to distance itself from companies that rely on unsustainable energy sources, to solving long-standing concerns within the faculty, such as securing a microwave for students in the Roberts Building. He also raised concerns shared widely by second-year Engineering students regarding the difficulty of a particular coursework, ensuring their voices were heard.

Thank you for all of your hard work, Mustafa!
