Academic Rep in Focus: Isabella Purves
Isabella is a first year Course Representative for MSc SREPT: Sustainable Resources: Economics, Policy and Transitions.
As a SREPT MSc representative, I aim to ensure that every student in my course feels heard and sees their feedback lead to real action. A large aspect of this is constantly seeking out feedback alongside my co-rep via structured forms, messages on our course chat, and in-person conversations. Clear communication with staff has allowed us to quickly address concerns and relay back meaningful results.
Building a sense of course community is also a large priority. I’ve helped organise socials such as pub trips, picnics and Secret Santa. This helps my course mates relax from an intense course and socialise in a more relaxed atmosphere. I look forward to seeing what we can do next!
