1. We're great value for money £££

Let's be honest, £119 for a 6 month gym membership, (and no silly joining fees), is a great bargain, especially for Zone 1. And if you sign up now, this means from now until the end of term you'll have unlimited access to the gym and all our classes.

Included in your membership you get access to a 90 piece fitness suite, a free weights section, squash courts and a studio with a great variety of classes being held everyday. We feel tired just thinking about it.

And a little extra cherry on top - as a member you have access to the UNIversal Gym Scheme which means you can train at around 70 other university gyms around the country that are signed up to the scheme. So no excuses!

Better still, as your on-campus Students' Union gym, all profits are reinvested back into improving Bloomsbury Fitness, alongside funding student events and activities.

New year, new you? If you're one of the 3 in 5 people (according to many official surveys) who made a resolution to do more exercise in 2024, then you're in luck because we're here to help you smash your fitness goals.

We all know regular exercise is great for both our physical and mental health. So if you're feeling motivated, a Bloomsbury Fitness membership will help you commit to exercising not only in January but for another 6 months, which means you have a much greater chance of getting into a routine and really sticking to your plan.

As a new member you'll automatically get a free gym induction, so if you're a bit nervous, we'll be there to help you get started. We're also conveniently located in the Bloomsbury Theatre building at 15 Gordon Street, right next to the Student Centre, for all those post study training sessions.

Last but not least, we hire some amazing student staff and instructors, who are friendly, approachable and there to help.

3. We have something for everyone

From boxing to dance fit, to hatha yoga and hiit, the vibes are good, the classes fun, and we guarantee there will be a session or workout to suit you. You can book sessions in person, by phone or through the Bloomsbury Fitness app.

We also recognise that everyone has different needs. We have regular quiet sessions where we turn off the music, non-equipment screens and encourage members to train quietly where possible, and women's only hours to help the gym feel less intimidating and more welcoming.

We also really value student feedback (because we built this gym for you). As a member you are automatically invited to join our monthly Gym User Group where you can tell us how we're doing and what we can do to improve. Recent student feedback led to us investing in our showers and changing room facilities, alongside extending our opening hours.
