Est. 2014, City Harvest collects nutritious surplus food from manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers, delivering for free to 360+ London charities feeding those facing food poverty. City Harvest rescues food, people, and planet by preventing food waste, providing life-changing support to communities in every London borough through food, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from waste.
As part of UCL's 28 Days' of Sustainability, we're hosting a team of UCL volunteers at our warehouse. The event is running on Wednesday 2nd March from 11.30am - 4pm at our Acton Warehouse (your travel expenses will be paid).
It's a great chance to see one of London's sustainability charities in action and help make a difference to both people and planet.
