🎨 Join Us for a Creative Big Help Out at The Log Cabin Charity

Help transform a beloved community space into a bright, welcoming play area for local children.

We’ll spend the day transforming The Log Cabin’s indoor playroom into a vibrant, welcoming space for local children which includes those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You’ll help paint, assemble simple storage, hang décor, and refresh the room layout to make it more playful and accessible. You do not need any prior experience, just bring your energy, creativity, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on!

🧤 What’s a Big Help Out?

Big Help Outs are fun, one-off volunteering opportunities where students and staff come together to make a tangible impact. It’s all about small actions creating big change and you’ll always find friendly faces to welcome and support you on the day.

Why Join In?

The Log Cabin Charity provides play and respite opportunities for children and young people of all abilities. By lending a hand, you’ll be helping create a joyful, accessible space where every child can feel safe and included.

To support your involvement, travel expenses will be reimbursed, and if you volunteer for more than six hours, lunch will be provided.

To make it easier to get involved, you can travel to the event with a member of our team. This is a great way to meet fellow volunteers, make new friends, and arrive together. Full details of the meeting location and travel arrangements will be shared with registered participants closer to the event.

Meet Point: Ground Floor Bloomsbury Theatre Building at 9:00am
