New members are the future of your club and making them feel welcome from day one really matters. This practical workshop will give you the tools to attract and support beginners, raise awareness of your sport, and create a positive first experience that encourages students to return.
We'll cover practical approaches to promoting your club through social media and marketing, writing clear and engaging website content, running beginner-friendly taster sessions, building an inclusive environment, and keeping prospective members engaged throughout the year. You'll leave with practical ideas to help grow your club, improve the beginner experience, and turn curiosity into long-term participation.
This training is aimed at club presidents and welfare officers, but we encourage committee members whose roles support equality, diversity, and inclusion to also attend.
