The Women's Hockey Club are running a beginner training session for This Girl Can week where everyone with any hockey ability is welcome to join!
The session will be run by our Committee members who will run drills/stick skills, but mostly we will have some fun! We want to introduce hockey to those who have never played, but maybe remind any previous players why they should get back into hockey! We are a fun, welcoming and vibrant community of girls and we want everyone to feel welcome to join.
Location: Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, Eton Manor, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Leadmill Ln, London E20 3AD
Time: 7-8pm
Equipment: We have beginner sticks and mouthguards so you just need to bring yourself in some sports kit.
Getting to the venue: Our Beginner's Captain, Dani, will meet those wanting to join the session on campus by Portico so that everyone can travel together to the pitch. Further information will all be on our Instagram (@uclwhc) so please follow us to get involved.
