TeamUCL Against Hate: Harnessing your club for impact in equity and inclusion
TeamUCL Against Hate is a dedicated programme that supports student leaders to make change, harnessing the power of sports clubs to have impact through equity and inclusion (E&I) initiatives. The project increases cohesion between campaigns, support clubs to develop E&I initiatives, and enable UCL students to better understand sports clubs' commitment to their inclusion.
TeamUCL Against Hate has three components; the Pledge, the Inclusion Plan, and the Accreditation Scheme.
In this session you will learn about the three components, be supported to develop your clubs Inclusion Plan, and understand how you can contribute to an inclusive culture at UCL.
TeamUCL Against Hate forms part of the Club Development Criteria and the Club Development Awards.
Delivered by Tommy Garwood, Sports Development Coordinator (Equity and Inclusion)
This training is aimed at club presidents and welfare officers, but we encourage committee members whose roles support equality, diversity, and inclusion to also attend.
