What to expect at Project Active Pay and Play Badminton:
Our Pay and Play Badminton sessions are all about getting active, meeting new people, and enjoying the game at your own pace. Rackets and shuttlecocks are provided, so all you need is your energy and enthusiasm.
Our weekly classes are open to all UCL staff and students and are designed to be:
- Beginner friendly (no experience is needed)
- Low commitment
- Inclusive and welcoming
- A great place for making new friends
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly Project Active activator who will check your ticket sent to your email. You will have a chance to have a quick chat and get to know other participants before beginning your session!
Session Description:
Fancy a light, fun hit of badminton? Our Pay & Play Badminton sessions are open to all abilities and welcomes those who just want to enjoy the game. Our activators will help set up casual matchups and ensure sessions run smoothly. Just grab a racket and get stuck in!
Go at your own pace, there is no judgement in our classes and remember all classes are beginner friendly. So have fun, try a new activity and enjoy meeting new UCL friends at Project Active.

Equipment: All equipment will be provided at the session, please bring a water bottle with you.
What to wear: Please wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in!
Refund and transfer policy: All tickets are non-refundable unless there has been a class cancellation. Tickets cannot be transferred
