The final taster ride of the UCL Cycling Club will be a ride out of London, led by our experienced ride leaders. There will be multiple level groups but prior-experience of cycling rides of at least 50km is required, as well as confidence to ride in London traffic. Groups are below but if you are ensure of your ability please message one of our committee members! We recommend you start in a lower-paced group for the first ride and work your way up. Riding groups are limited to 6 people for safety.
Group A: 50km, avg pace depending on riders
Group B: 80km, avg pace 24-26kph
Group C: 80km, avg pace 28-30kph
To attend this event you will need:
- A working bike with 2 brakes.
- A helmet.
- A working rear and front light.
- Appropriate cycling kit that is going to be warm and comfortable enough for at least 2hrs on the bike.
