๐๏ธ Speaker 1 : Catherine Gabela

Catherine is a UCL and LBS alumna who began her career in supply chain roles within leading FMCG and pharmaceutical companies before transitioning into consulting with PA Consulting and PwC. She is now a portfolio professional focused on supporting leaders and organisations through coaching, mentoring startup founders, and advisory work. She also serves as an NHS governor, an external trustee of the UCL Studentsโ Union, and President of the Alumni Women at London Business School.

๐๏ธ Speaker 2 : Eda Yildirimkaya

Eda Yildirimkaya is the two-time elected Equity and Inclusion Officer (2024โ2026) at the UCL Students' Union, where she leads projects aimed at making UCL a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. She moved to the UK from Turkey in 2021 to study BA Media at the UCL Institute of Education and graduated in 2024. With a deeply rooted passion for arts, literature, design, and communications, Eda brings together her creative skillset and commitment to community building to develop and lead a range of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives both within and beyond her role. Her work focuses on creating spaces where students from diverse backgrounds feel represented, supported, and empowered to participate in university life.
๐๏ธ Speaker 3 : Juliette Cammaerts

After studying French and Arabic at UCL and SOAS, Juliette went on to work at the Department for Education as a policy officer, working her way up to senior private secretary to the Secretary of State for Education. Following this, she worked at the Children's Commissioner's Office for England as the executive director. She is now the principal private secretary to the Secretary of State in the Department of Health and Social Care.
