Excited for a new year of university fresh out of lockdown? Come down; try a new sport and meet new (and perhaps lifetime) friends after over a year in lockdown! Our welcome session (29th September 2021) is open to any UCL student, fresher to final year. We welcome anyone with any level of skill, whether you are yet to pick up a stick or if you are a pro.
We will meet at George Farha Cafe at 12.30PM for introductions before we travel to Southgate Hockey Centre (via London Underground) for a start at 2-4pm. Do come in sportswear and bring a fresh change of clothes as we will provide free food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for a light and easy post-hockey social. We will then travel to UCL for our Fresher's Sports' Night event where beer is paid-for for all newcomers.
