Take part in one of London's best nature walks

Whether you want a break from exam season or you want to explore more of the nature London has to offer, Queen's Wood in Highgate offers a relaxing break away from the city. Surrounded by oak trees, Queen's wood is a beautiful ancient woodland that dates back to the 1600s. The walk is perfect for nature lovers, with a large population of native bluebells as well as multiple species of woodpeckers inhabiting the area.

Tucked into a small corner of the woods is the beautiful Queen's Wood Cafe, where there are an array of pastries and drinks available for a post-walk treat!

The walk is on a mix of pavement and nature trails, so it may be slightly uneven at times.  We'll be taking it at a leisurely pace, so  don't worry if you'd rather take it slowly - everyone is welcome!

Timings

Meet us outside the Student Centre at 10am. From there, we will all head to Highgate together!

Your guide will take you on the walk (which takes about half an hour) and afterwards drop you off at the Queen's Wood Cafe, where you'll be able to grab a pastry or coffee!
