We will Visit Woodoaks Farm in Rickmansworth (on the metropolitan line). Woodoaks Farm Home - Woodoaks Farm is run by the Soil Association Soil Association, the UK's largest organic charity. They were left the farm in the farmer's will and are turning it from intensive to organic. Part of the day will include a tour & talk from the land manager there who is a wealth of knowledge on organic farming practices. The rest of the day we will be volunteering: getting out hands dirty and reconnecting to where the food we eat comes from
- We will meet at Rickmansworth tube station at 9.30am
- Travel to Farm for 10am (by taxis)
- The day will be 10am - roughly 3.30pm
- We will travel back to train station for 4pm
๐Costs and travel
We will cover the cost of the taxis from the train to the farm & back to the train station. Travel on Metropolitan line to the station and food costs will not be covered. There is a cafe on the farm that you can purchase from, or you can bring packed lunch.

The trip will be open to all members of the Urban Farmers Society! Moreover it is co-hosted by Food at UCL, so expect to meet and connect with their staff!
