Join us for an insightful evening exploring two exciting frontiers in women’s health!

We are delighted to welcome Victoria Male from Imperial who will be discussing the science, safety, and scepticism of vaccination during pregnancy

We will also hear from Lydia Mapstone, founder of Boobie Biome, an innovative company investigating the breast milk microbiome. Lydia will discus research on the importance of, and discovery of microbial communities in breast milk, and how Boobie Biome are working to solve key issues regarding this.

Together, this panel will examine how maternal health interventions, from vaccines to microbiome science, are reshaping our understanding of women, and infant health. Both Victoria and Lydia demonstrate how discoveries in the lab translate into society, public health, and commercial innovation. For this reason, the event is open to students from all disciplines, not only those with scientific backgrounds!

The event will conclude with a live Q&A and networking opportunities offering students the chance to engage directly with leaders working at the cutting edge of maternal and infant health research. Refreshments will be provided!

Tickets are free for FemTech and Obs and Gyn society members and £3 for non-members!
