Calling UCL students and staff!
Join us for an afternoon of tennis at the fantastic Lee Valley Tennis Centre 🎾 Whether you’re a seasoned player or just curious to give doubles a go, this is your chance to get active, meet new people, and enjoy some friendly competition.
We’ll provide tennis balls and have a few spare racquets on hand – all you need to bring is yourself, some comfy sportswear, and your best on-court energy!

What is it?
Two hours of fun, social doubles tennis! Players will mix partners and opponents throughout the session, so it’s a great way to connect with fellow UCL students and staff.

Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London E20 3AD
Who can come?
Any UCL student or staff member – whether you’re coming solo or with friends, everyone’s welcome.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable sports clothes, a water bottle, and a racquet if you have one (we’ll have spares too).
Do I need to be good at tennis?
You don't need to be an expert but this tournament isn't designed for complete beginners. You will be required to score, compete and officiate your own matches. However, this is all about fun, fitness, and meeting new people – so you do not need to be the next Roger Federer or Serena Williams.
