Session Details:
Gain an introduction to microsurgical techniques through a highly practical session focused on precision, instrument handling, and fine motor control. Participants will work under magnification to practise delicate suturing and tissue handling, building foundational skills essential for neurosurgery, plastics, and vascular surgery.
Each session is delivered by surgical trainees and offers:
- Hands on experience with microsurgical instruments
- Structured teaching on fine suturing techniques
- Close supervision and personalised feedback
- A certificate upon completion
Who can attend?
Open to all UCL medical students, no prior microsurgical experience required.
What to bring:
All equipment and materials will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing for a clinical skills setting.
