Ever wondered what it looks like when a business actually tries to do good in the world? These one-day field trips are your chance to find out!
We're organising a series of day trips to some of the most interesting social enterprises in and around London — from hidden gems tucked into the city's lesser-known neighbourhoods to ventures out to the coast in places like Brighton. Each trip is a chance to step out of the classroom, travel together, and spend a day somewhere genuinely worth visiting.
What to expect:
On each trip you'll get to explore a real social enterprise — organisations that use business as a force for good — and see how they actually operate day-to-day. You'll hear directly from the people who built them and keep them running, ask questions, and get a real sense of what purposeful work looks like in practice. And beyond the visit itself, you'll get to discover parts of London (and beyond) you might never have stumbled across otherwise.
These trips are for you if you're curious about:
- Social enterprise, ethical business, or impact-driven careers
- How organisations balance purpose with sustainability
- Exploring the city and meeting new people
- Getting off campus and doing something a bit different
We'll be keeping the groups small, so register your interest by clicking 'Notify Me' and we'll keep you posted as dates and destinations are confirmed. No commitment needed at this stage — just let us know you're keen.
