Are you missing nature already? Looking to escape central London? Did you know that gardens make people happy?

Kew Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has over 50,000 living plants to satisfy all of your botanical desires.

It's definitely one to check off your London Bucket List... and return to again and again, whenever you need to reconnect with nature.

A student rep will travel with you on the tube from UCL to Kew Gardens on the day.

What to expect

  • Meet our student rep outside UCL Student Centre at 9:00 and leave by 9:15.
  • The student rep will accompany you on the tube to the gardens.
  • You can leave the gardens at any time. Kew closes at 19:00.
  • Please note your ticket only covers the entrance fee to Kew Gardens, you will need to pay for your travel separately.

For events that are indoors, you are required to wear a face covering. Please familiarise yourself with UCL’s guidance on face covering and staying safe on campus.

Please note: If you didn't get a ticket through us, you can still go with the group to Kew Gardens and buy a ticket upon arrival (don't forget to bring your student ID for a discount).
