Spitalfields City Farm
Spitalfields City Farm is a much-loved community green space tucked away in the heart of the East End, offering a surprising rural escape from the surrounding urban bustle of Bethnal Green and Shoreditch. Free to enter, the farm is open to all and has been a cornerstone of the local community since the late 1970s.
The farm is home to a variety of animals including donkeys, goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and an assortment of poultry, giving visitors the chance to get up close with animals they might not otherwise encounter in the city. Joining Instructions
Head to Gordon Square, outside the Archaeology Building for 15:30 where you will meet your guide. Once the group has assembled your guide will take you to the Farm via public transport and you will be able to spend as much time in the Farm as you want!
