The British Museum

British Museum offers a rich journey through human history and culture, housing world-renowned collections spanning two million years. Visitors can explore iconic treasures including the Rosetta Stone, Egyptian mummies, the Parthenon Sculptures, and artefacts from civilizations across the globe.

A highlight for this event is the special exhibition dedicated to John Constable, one of Britain's most celebrated landscape painters. The exhibition showcases his masterful depictions of the English countryside, including studies and sketches that reveal his innovative techniques in capturing light, atmosphere, and the changing skies of rural England. Visitors can gain insight into Constable's working methods, his connection to Suffolk's landscapes (immortalised as "Constable Country"), and his lasting influence on landscape art.

The event combines the museum's permanent collections with this focused look at Constable's work, offering something for art enthusiasts, history lovers, and casual visitors alike.
