Find your calm and spark creativity - unwind and explore mindfulness through photography in an inspiring session designed to nurture wellbeing and everyday creativity.
This workshop centres on the idea of using photography as a tool to slow down, observe more deeply, and engage with the present moment. Explore how we can apply mindfulness through photography, an approach that can help calm anxiety, quieten the mind, nurture creativity, and develop the art of noticing.
Throughout the session, students will be introduced to bitesize photography techniques, allowing them to gradually build technical skills while remaining grounded in mindful practice. The emphasis is not on perfection, but on experience, encouraging curiosity, awareness, and personal interpretation.
We will mostly be exploring outside in nature, in a calm, natural environment. Designed to be accessible and beneficial for everyone, whether you are a complete beginner or have some background in photography or mindfulness. You can use either a camera or your phone to take photos.
