What is an Interfaith Walk?

This interfaith walk is another opportunity to celebrate Inter Faith Week 2024. We will go on a guided walk around the local area using various places of worship and faith communities to guide our way. As we walk their will be opportunity for conversation to grow in our understanding of the diverse faith and beliefs represented at UCL as well. It will be led by Reid Humble, the UCL Chaplain and Interfaith Adviser.

Who is it for? Do I have to be religious?

The walk is for everyone. It is for people of all faiths, beliefs, and those of none. Increasing understanding between people of faith and no particular faith is just as important in our world as inter faith understanding.

Where are we going?

You can find the route here. We will meet in the UCL main quad. At the end of the walk, you may like to go for a coffee with new friends that you have made, so please bring money with you for that.

What do I need to bring?

As usual in the UK, be ready for the weather! Check out the temperature and rain forecast before you head over to campus that day. If you're walking, wear comfortable shoes for a route that might take around an hour. For everyone, wear layers and take a back pack.

Wheelchair accessible
Yes

The Quad is accessible by wheelchair from Gower Street entrance. The route will be on local streets to campus and so accessibility is determined by this. Every effort will be made to ensure the most accessible route is used.
