What is "Chinese Traditional Crosstalk"?
During the traditional Spring Festival temple fairs, crosstalk performances are often featured, and crosstalk shows on television also constitute an important part of people's memories associated with the Spring Festival from generation to generation. As the Spring Festival approaches, the London Crosstalk Conference, along with the "Crosstalk Meets Foreigners" team from Beijing, will conduct "Crosstalk Goes to Campus" activities. Through crosstalk performances and discussions, they will share interesting stories about both domestic and international cultures, adding a touch of Chinese flavor to the Spring Festival for Chinese students in London. UCL Student crosstalk performers will also join this workshop to share performance anecdotes, make New Year's wishes together, and celebrate the Chinese New Year joyfully!
We encourage people who have an at-least beginner-level understanding of mandarin to join the workshop.

Auspicious Phrases in Crosstalk: In various programs, there are many traditional auspicious phrases used for festivals. Using language to delight the adorable audience is an important skill!
