We have our first volunteer session this Sunday with Robin Hood Garden! This year, we're collaborating with them to help create up to four diverse and distinct habitats, attracting and supporting species of pollinators, birds and small mammals. 🐝🐦🦔
The main purpose of this first session is a Bioblitz to survey the area we propose to rewild and create baseline data record. This will help us plan which are the best habitats to focus on in the future sessions.
Good to Know:
Make sure to bring a packed lunch/ snack and your greenest fingers for our garden volunteering session, we hope to see as many of you there as possible and are all excited for this schedule to start :)
Also keep an eye on the weather for appropriate clothing etc. Wear a coat if it’s due to rain, a hat and scarf if it’s chilly and more 🧣
