Sustainability is increasingly becoming a high priority for UCL students and the Union. In May 2019, we passed a ‘Plastic Free’ motion which mandates the Union to ban single use plastic in its venues. We are finding ways to make our Welcome Fair sustainable and can confirm that our music stage will be powered by Hydrogen.
We have a number of student leader positions for students who want to be involved in the this area.
