🔢 Are you a Maths enthusiast? If so, this project is for you!
We are looking for Maths Tutors to work with motivated school kids, who enjoy solving puzzles in a non examinable environment. We organise weekly Maths Circles, which are fun maths-loving training sessions that aim to help kids develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills, rather than have them apply memorised formulas.
Duties
- Tutor school kids in years 7-11 in person, in groups of up to 6 kids per tutor.
- Explain Maths concepts and problem solutions to the kids.
- Record the results, and maintain order in the rooms.
Training
As a volunteer, you will be invited for the introductory training on how a Maths Circle and tutoring work.
