Two Temple Place is a magnificent neo-Tudor building on London's Victoria Embankment, just near Temple underground station. The building becomes an exhibition venue for three months each year to host our exhibition programme, and we open for other events and open days throughout the rest of the year.
We rely on our friendly and enthusiastic team of around 200 volunteers to make these exhibitions and events possible. Our Gallery Steward Volunteers take on a vital public facing role that includes supervising the exhibition spaces and answering visitors questions.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for our 2027 exhibition Gathering Rest (23 January - 18 April 2027). The exhibition will look at how contemporary artists are exploring personal and collective experiences of rest as an expression of intimacy, repair and solidarity. Featuring works by modern and contemporary artists drawn from public collections and artists across the UK, the exhibition highlights practices that engage the senses and reshape experience.
You don't need experience to volunteer, we provide the training. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experiences
