Revitalise is a national charity that has been providing respite holidays for disabled people and carers for over 50 years. We have three Revitalise centres, in Chigwell in Essex, Southampton and Southport, each providing a wide range of accessible activities, excursions and entertainment. We are very lucky to have dedicated volunteers, who provide companionship and support to our guests, ensuring they have a truly unforgettable holiday and we would love you to join them. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds from the age of 16 and our roles provide a valuable opportunity for young adults to learn important social skills, build confidence and make a positive impact. No experience is necessary so our varying levels of training mean our roles are suitable for students of any degree background; for students undertaking studies in areas of care or nursing and want to gain specific experience or those who simply want to try something new. We also provide assessments for students and references on request.
