Manor Gardens Welfare Trust has been empowering communities in Islington to improve their health and wellbeing since 1913. Located in one of London's most diverse yet deprived boroughs, we deliver culturally competent, trauma-informed, and person-centred services, supporting over 2,500 individuals directly each year, and tens of thousands more indirectly, through our research, awareness raising and advocacy work.

Our multilingual advocacy, youth programmes, and therapeutic support are tailored to the needs of those facing significant disadvantages, including refugees, survivors of domestic violence and harmful practices like FGM, and young people at risk of gang exploitation. We provide vital services such as individual and group therapy, peer-led wellbeing activities, targeted youth interventions, and comprehensive support in areas such as housing, welfare, mental health, and food security.

As leaders of the award-winning Islington Food Partnership, we are committed to challenging food insecurity by delivering thousands of hot meals, food parcels, and essential items annually. Our innovative projects, like the pioneering Dahlia Project for FGM survivors and our youth service interventions, demonstrate our dedication to addressing systemic and intersectional inequalities.

Manor Gardens fosters resilience, social connectedness, and empowerment, collaborating closely with partners to advocate for systemic change and equitable access to services. Our holistic approach ensures lasting, positive impacts for the diverse communities we proudly serve.
