The aim of our project is to provide a fun empowering space for girls to play football. Biweekly football sessions with girls will run in partnership with community organizations and the UCL Women's Football Club. Girls Can Kick will offer an opportunity for young girls to gain extra practice in a setting with female role models, as coaches for girls’ teams are predominantly men. Ultimately, we hope that young London girls will have the opportunity to see football as a lifelong activity for them as women.
