Dyscover is a specialist charity providing community and online support for people with aphasia and progressive aphasias led by Speech and Language Therapists.

We rely upon a large team of Volunteers to run our services and the charity as a whole. We have a range of volunteering opportunities, open to all. Our volunteers are the backbone of our organisation and we value them immensely, hugely investing in their recruitment, induction, ongoing support and training, led by a dedicated Volunteer Co-ordinator.

Many volunteers support our Speech and Language Therapists (SLT’s) and assistants in our weekly supported conversation group sessions either in person or online. Others help with fundraising, marketing and office/administrative support or join our Trustee Board (who are all volunteers too).

Do consider joining our friendly volunteer team and help to make a difference to people with aphasia. Develop new skills, make new friends, and share your interests and knowledge with others.

We welcome enquiries and are always happy to have an informal conversation.
