Highgate & Holloway Woodcraft Folk
The Woodcraft Folk is a youth group in the UK that's all about teaching kids and young folks through fun activities. They love camping, crafts, and playing games outdoors. Started in 1925, they're big on fairness, caring for nature, and making sure everyone feels included. It's like a groovy alternative to traditional scouts, where everyone gets a say and it's all about having a good time while…

Are you passionate about working with children and promoting social justice? Join us as a Woodcraft Folk Leader and help create a supportive and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun!

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to make a difference in their community by joining our existing group of Leaders, that run fun and engaging activities for young people.

Leading group activities, facilitating discussions, promoting teamwork, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.

Volunteers will lead weekly meetings, organise outings and events, and support children in developing valuable life skills.

Who will the volunteers be working with?
Volunteers will work closely with other leaders, children aged 6-15, and occasionally parents or guardians.
Comprehensive training will be provided, covering child safeguarding, group management, and activity planning.

Time commitment

Volunteers are expected to commit to regular meetings, typically once a week during term time, with additional events and outings throughout the year.
Application deadline
