Octavia
Octavia Foundation supports people affected by ill health, social isolation, low income or unemployment in central and west London.

Our vision is to build stronger, happier and healthier communities in central and west London to help create an enriched life where we live. Help us to raise money for the Octavia Foundation and support the work we do in the local community by volunteering in one of our charity shops.

Do you love fashion, enjoy meeting different people and have an interest in retail? Maybe you would love to help others find their style. Perhaps you’d like to learn more about contemporary window displays or sourcing specialist donated items?

We also offer:

 Full induction and training, including one-to-one support from the Shop Manager

 An amazing team atmosphere  Opportunity to enhance your CV and to learn new skills

 Travel and lunch costs are reimbursed on the provision of receipts*

Time commitment

We are very flexible about volunteering hours so please let us know your availability and we can discuss the best shop to suit your needs.

What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
Each Shop Manager will ensure volunteers' safety during the pandemic.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch at any time with any questions, queries or problems you encounter.
