TBFA will provide training on safeguarding, working with neurodivergent young people, health & safety, first aid and equal opportunities. These trainings are not mandatory (except Safeguarding) as you will always be accompanied by a trained senior instructor. However, we recommend undertaking the relevant training so that volunteers feel equipped to support young people as safely as possible.
Time commitment
Classes run during term time without breaks for half term. Volunteers are expected to inform TBFA as far in advance as possible if they are unable to make a session.
