Description

We Are Listening is looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to help us combat social isolation. Can you  spare 1 hour per week to befriend someone in need? Your support makes a real difference. 

All volunteers are required to have a basic DBS check (we reimburse the cost) and must provide two references. 

We provide full training and ongoing support. 

 

 

 

Duties

•    Actively participate in the work of the charity and to complete any tasks allocated to me to the best of my ability and within agreed timescales
•    Comply with We Are Listening’s rules and procedures
•    Act as an ambassador for We Are Listening and promote the charity as/when the opportunity arises

- An Induction
- 4 week review
- 12 week ongoing reviews

Time commitment

once a week for up to 1 hour around life commitments.
