We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic volunteers who want to support young people in building confidence and teamwork, lead or assist in fun, inclusive sports sessions, be a role model and make a lasting impact in your community, gain valuable experience in coaching, mentoring, and youth work.

Duties

 

  • Share your passion of a sport or sports with youths aged 8-18 yrs old.
  • Setting up and packing down equipment, signage, and facilities.
  • Welcoming and directing youth participants.
  • Assisting with registration and check-in for participants or teams.
  • Providing information and answering questions from participants.
  • Helping participants with logistics like hydration stations, warm-up areas, or kit distribution.
  • Guiding teams to their designated areas or schedules.
  • Supporting accessibility needs for disabled participants or spectators.
Who will the volunteers be working with?
Other volunteers, youths aged 8-18 yrs old, staff / sessional workers
Training
Full training and regular support will be provided

Time commitment

We have volunteer opportunities to help at our youth club, youth gym and football sessions - these run on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays - if you have an hour, an evening or an afternoon you'd like to spend volunteering with us, we'd love to chat to you about how we can make volunteering with us work for you around your studies.
