Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust exists to support, educate and inspire young LGBT+ persons and those around them. They do this by providing accessible activities, programmes and services that aim to empower community members, provide essential resources, advocate for young LGBT+ rights, and embrace, promote, and endorse the diversity of young persons.
They are seeking student volunteers to undertake a research project focussed on attendance and engagement in their youth programme, which supports around 400 service users through two regular meetings (12-18 and 18-25). They want to understand the reasons for engagement, low engagement, disengagement and non-engagement in sessions. This will involve exploring why some service users who register but do not attend, why others stop attending and what factors enable regular engagement.
They have some historic survey data demonstrating the impact of their services (sample size 30), as well as anonymous feedback data.
