Description

The role offers an enthusiastic individual an invaluable opportunity to take a hands-on role in the marketing of a platform that will help tackle the UK’s serious underemployment of autistic people. By helping us build a relationship with some of the largest companies in a variety of sectors, this volunteer opportunity will see you deliver real social change whilst receiving invaluable opportunities for personal development and network building.

Duties

Specifically, the role will involve online research into organisations we are looking to work with, before helping reach out to them to begin the process of marketing our exciting online employment assistance platform, STEEVIE. Along the way you can expect to develop your knowledge of autism and the social issues related to it, as well as developing practical career skills and working with a very supportive team of both experienced professionals and fellow students alike.

Who will the volunteers be working with?
Volunteers will be working with a small team of fellow student volunteers as well as having regular engagement with the organisation's leaders.

Time commitment

The role is flexible, and from the start any time you can offer will be built around other work and study commitments. However, we are hopeful of bringing in individuals with a real interest in autism, and/or a passion for delivering work that will directly contribute to positive social change.
