Meet new people, develop new skills and help engage a deprived community. Volunteer in our small community museum and help us to educate visitors and locals about the history of Somers Town.
- Greet visitors and explain the museum's purpose and exhibits to them. Help connect visitors to events and projects they may be interested in and encourage them to join our mailing list.
- Maintain the space and collection, keeping everything tidy and flagging potential issues to the staff.
- You may be asked to help with some of the day-to-day tasks depending on your interests, including inventory, social media, research, curating our displays or a bit of DIY.
Time commitment
Volunteers have a choice of a morning (10:30-13:30), afternoon (14:00-17:30) or all-day (10:30-17:30) shift on one or more of these days per week, or per fortnight. More flexible volunteering is possible so if you'd like to help out but can't commit to a regular shift please do get in touch.
