Model United Nations Schools Programme
We're a tight knit community of volunteers who run Model United Nations and Public Speaking Workshops in schools across the UK. The purpose of this program, run as part of UCLUNA's outreach mission, is to break the often 'elite' silos of MUN and increase access to diplomacy and public speaking skills for children in state and public schools.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers willing to take part in our MUN Schools Programme. Our volunteers are responsible for organising debate skills workshops for pupils in schools we're partnering with. UCLUNA Society prepares preliminary scripts for classes and will be training you, so those without debating or MUN experience are more than welcome to join. Our project will be a great opportunity to improve your debating skills and learn to work with and teach young people.

Time commitment

Volunteers need to commit to delivering several workshops during the year.
We are flexible regarding time commitment. While we prefer volunteers to commit to delivering workshops weekly for a period of several weeks, we are also happy to accommodate for lower time commitments, either once every two weeks/month or as a replacement volunteer when someone has a last-minute impediment.

This is an opportunity offered by a Student-Led Volunteering Project. It is run by UCL students and supported and supervised by staff in Students' Union UCL Volunteering Service.
